It is hard to believe but Space Quest is over 35 years old! For many, the original Sierra "3-D" animated adventure games helped improve typing speeds as well as raised frustration levels due to some of the specific actions required to complete the quest (remember this was before the days of instant help via the internet). By today's standards the game is primitive and not very user friendly but for those that played it back in the day the nostalgia is strong. Any love for these original graphic adventure games? 🌌⌨️

L’objet Obscura: Back when 1.44 MB was enough, the 3.5-inch was the go to for the business world. I remember my first code written was on GW-BASIC, and it was stored right on one of these. I also remember one of the most annoying games was Sierra’s “CODENAME: Iceman.” That game took 4 discs to play and I never got past the first disc because I kept typing in the wrong command. Anyways, here’s a bit of history I found in Japan. I am not sure if it was a JP exclusive but I found this leather LV floppy disc sheath years ago while digging.
