“This is crazy!” Darcy whispered screamed, before ducking down and letting out a yell when another round of bullets were fired into the dinner. “Your supposed to be a tattoo artist,” she accused quietly, not so much to the woman crouched next to her, who was reloading her weapon, but more to herself.
“I know.” Sif paused, turning on her heels, she gently reached over and carefully cupped Darcy’s cheek. “I know and I’m sorry. I wanted out.” She snapped her lips closed as she furrowed her brow and let her hand fall away.
Sif at nothing for a long moment before she let her shoulders slump and nodding to something in her head, and squared her shoulders back up, going back to checking her gun over. “I never wanted you in my world.”
“Then why did you spend the last eight months flirting with me?”
“Because I wanted to join you in yours.”
