I’m really excited about this. Someone’s brought up a good point that 6s teams will have to scramble to find a 7th player, but honestly, as much as I like watching 6s, it does bother me that its loudest fans panic so much about any change without even trying anything.

Some idiot on reddit is even arguing that “it’s been tried 8 years ago, so it won’t work” because apparently TF2 is the same game that it was back when it had a fifth of the weapons it does now and most of the currently-played competitive maps didn’t even exist??

But hopefully this’ll go well, or we’ll at least see what happens when 6s players are forced to see 2 more classes in the game that aren’t their “meta teamcomp plus sniper”. Or what happens when a HL team has to let two of their players sit out.

so i found out today that sigafoo had organized three comp teams from his viewers, two iron and one steel :O is this a streamer thing?

I haven't watched Sigafoo's stream in a bit but that's fucking incredible; THREE Sigacrews running around. I think it is, Sigafoo's stream viewers are pretty friendly to each other.
