Anyone remember the London Duck Tour? You can’t get them anymore because the council bought up the slipway where the boats drove into the water so they could lay some sewage pipes. Apparently they’re supposed to be coming back again at some point, but who knows when. The last I heard it was some time in 2024. This photo shows the most memorable part of the tour when the boat drove into the Thames and then floated past the Houses of Parliament. I remember the day I did it the boat was practically driving along the middle of the river (and I really do mean driving, not floating!) because there was big mud bank down the centre of the Thames.
