a soul who walks between worlds.

It is not a sigil of obedience.

It is not a spell of healing.

It is a statement of survival and a quiet defiance

against those who tried to name me broken.

You don't need to understand it.

If it's meant for you,

you'll feel it in your bones.

Mobile-Friendly Pride Norse Runes list

A bunch of Norse designs I made blatantly gay to to say 'fuck you' to fuckwaffles appropriating Norse symbols for their hate. Designs are available on Ko-Fi for free download to personal use to make your own apparel, and also available on Threadless for anyone who don’t want to or can’t print them on stuff themselves but still want something with the designs on it. Be Gay do Crime - Actually says "Be gay do pride," but the word "pride" in runes (ᛈᚱᛁᛞᛖ) hilariously resembles the word “crime.” (2023) | - Dark version (2024)

Pride Valknuts - Two designs depicting the Valknut made of Pride flags/Pride colors. Valknut literally means “knot of the slain warrior,” so I’ve designed these Pride versions- because think of how many have already died for this cause? Either fighting for it, or murdered because of it. Think about Stonewall. The AIDS crisis. Think about how many people had already risked their safety just being open about who they were, or protecting those in the lgbt+ communities. And how many still do. Let's take back the symbol from those who use it for less noble/hateful causes. (2023)

Pride Yggdrasil - Yggdrasil (Norse tree of life) with the colors of the original pride flag in the tree/branches surrounded by rings in the colors of the triangle of the progress flag (representing BIPOC, Trans, and Intersex) (2023)

Pride Mjolnir - A series of Mjolnir designs colored as different Pride flags. There are two versions of each design, one saying “You are Worthy” and another saying “I am Worthy,” with the exception of a progress flag version that says “We are Worthy” (2023)

Pride Odin's Crows - A design with Odin's Crows, Huginn and Muninn, holding banners over the backdrop of a series of pride flag colored backgrounds, surrounded by a knotwork frame. The banners read different slogans, like: "Love Wins," "Pride," "Proud," as well as various more specific banners for certain pride flags. (2025)

Pride Thor Bindrunes - Thor bindrune staffs over a few different flags that remind me of him and that I felt others would resonate with.

Pride Jörmungandr - Two designs depicting Jörmungandr (Norse world serpent), wrapped around the world. (2025) One features Jörmungandr drawn in pride colors and wrapped around the world with the words, "Pride is inevitable." The other features Jörmungandr drawn in black wrapped around the earth in pride colors with the words "Love is inevitable." Includes version written in runes. (2025)

As part of our practice for Vanirblot, we draw bindrunes on eggs. After taking some time to reflect on our wishes, we 'plant' the symbolic seed in hopes that our wishes might flower during the year. My sigils and bindrunes always end up looking like entities - one of the kindred told me she thought it looked like a raven.
