How do I end a scene? I have a lot of scenes, especially at the beginning, that just kinda stop because I ran out of things for the characters to do/say.
Make sure your scene does what a scene is supposed to do. Scenes need to focus on moving forward the plot or characterization and have a beginning, middle and end. This article here goes into that in better detail, including a lot on good scene structure.
Each scene should propel the reader into the next scene and compel them to keep reading. While it’s great to end on a bang! -- a secret being revealed, a door being opened -- the satisfaction comes because that bang! resolves some issue you, the creator, set up in that scene.
As always, structure is key. Setup --> Complication --> Crisis --> Resolution is one typical structure discussed here.

Question about Hunger Pangs, aside from sexy stuff what other content should we be aware of?
There isn’t a lot of gore, primarily because I’m not a fan of it and I think vampires being driven by blood lust is overrated when there’s so many other things to spend eternity obsessing over. (For instance, politics, technology, petting cute dogs.)
There is however a war going on, and people do get injured and need to recover. There’s some minor injury talk, and a lot of emotional baggage that goes along with it. There’s also some slight touches of realizing your family are not so great and supportive as you thought they were, and then some not quite so slight examples of gaslighting and coming to terms with that.
All of that is met with comfort and support though. I don’t like to leave anyone hanging.
I promised Hunger Pangs would always be a happy ever after, and it always will be. I just never said I wouldn’t put you through the emotional wringer to get there.
If you’d like to ask about specific triggers, feel free to ask. If it helps? Think of it as kinky Addams family levels of kitsch meets Pratchettarian fury and humor. That’s what people who have read it so far equate it to.
You probably got an ask about this before but if adhd medication is stimulants how can I help my inattention issues when I'm already taking medication for my anxiety?
There are non-stimulant ADHD medications. Strattera is the most commonly-prescribed, and Wellbutrin is another. In addition, if you find the right stimulant medication and the right dose, it won’t increase your anxiety. Talk to your doctor about your options.
