WeasyPrint converts a web page to a pdf without a browser engine, ImageMagick converts the pdf to images, Sigl displays the image results in terminal
Essentially I have a prototype for a lightweight terminal based browser that doesn't need a browser engine to work

I have sort of a tradition, when I learn a new graphics tool I figure out how to cheaply generate something approximating a Mondrian painting. I've done this in Processing, Pillow, Pico-8 (there may have been more but this is what I remember at the moment) and now SiGL. This means we have a paradigm for effects and a tool for drawing squares in SiGL now, the latter of which is one of the very basics for a graphics library. Putting this down for now to work on other projects but when I come back I'm going to take a crack at some very basic 3D as I recently learned about some very simple projection if you make some assumptions about the scene/camera.
Well, Agies home grown 3d renderer (it'll probably actually be called SiGL.3D) has its hello world (a cube wireframe). I've wanted to do this for over half a decade and now Ive got it started. The only requirements for the code that produced this is the pillow library in python for rendering the generated output, the math is startlingly simple and requires 0 imports.
Evening updates:
SiGL, ShrinkRay: Wrote some much faster code for generating color indexes and for color reduction using numpy resulting in non flickering (though I'm still working on optimal settings for this) livestreams in SiGL which will directly translate into conversion time optimizations for ShrinkRay when implemented
PierMesh: Wired encryption session setup and found the Handshake message I wrote for it a few weeks ago is still very viable and handled much more then I remembered, cutting a day or two off of dev time. Next things to do are to test the current code and then check/if necessary adjust the code for switching to session encryption when it's initialized.
Think I'm going to change the name for Sigil to SiGL since I want to develop it further into a kind of terminal graphics library
