i don’t know anything about cat psychology, but this same little guy has been coming around once in a while for a year or two, so you may be right. he always does the same thing: lie under the cover, maybe take a nap, then clean himself, stare at me through the slider, and wander off for parts unknown. he doesn’t seem afraid of humans, but he’s not interested in them for long, either. from the notch on his ear and thin patch of fur, i’m guessing he was in a scuffle once. hooligan.

my mother joked that it’s the closest i’ll ever get to having a pet, considering how allergic i am to cats. i told her, “what? i’m under quarantine and it’s cute. it’s like going to the zoo, except he’s the visitor and i’m the one behind the glass.”

I love the Phantom Troupe but except for Kalluto I don't want any of them to make it off this boat alive

i’ve been thinking more about this recently and what i want the most is for chrollo to die. i think that would disrupt the phantom troupe so much i’d actually be invested in how they operate. we might also get more insight into their backgrounds and motivations? like we can speculate why the members of the troupe joined and how it all originated back in meteor city but we really don’t have any concrete answers right now and personally i need that info in order to get invested. right now (with the exception of kalluto and illumi) i see them all as eventual cannon fodder.

hey, do you have any headcanons about Hisoka? or any specific ideas about situations Kurapika got into while hunting down Eyes?

i’ve kinda always imagined that he’s not interested in sex, like literally the only thing that gets him off is fighting strong opponents, or the idea of one day fighting a strong opponent lol

as for kurapika!

- he picks up swaths of interrogation techniques from his time in the mafia, just things he can do without even needing to use nen. they are ugly, and he hates using them, but for the sake of retrieving the eyes, he has tortured people before

- kurapika’s underlings are actually very loyal to him. as ruthless as kurapika can be, he treats the people under him very well, much to their surprise. kurapika is definitely the best boss they’ve ever had, since he actually cares about their survival! kurapika is unaware just how loyal they are, and the lengths they will go for him.

- kurapika has blackmail material on hundreds of people in various positions of power. he keeps most of it secret, mostly just there in case those people try to get in the way of him retrieving and keeping the eyes safe (since the eyes are still actively sought after by flesh collectors)

- assassins have actually been sent after kurapika for both the blackmail he has, and because of the eyes. they are all quickly taken out however

There was an enormous, serpentine Gothic mansion in the middle of Baltimore which had been converted into an antiques/second hand store. It was organized such that the lower you went from the ground floor, the more practical but dangerous the items got (think woodworking tools and rusted industrial equipment).The further up from ground floor the more and more potentially haunted/cursed things became. Rows and rows of clothes people died in, vials of viscous fluids, a centuries old white candle with a ring embedded in it which had been found unscathed in the ash of several house fires.

Except it was very clear from the owner’s too warm smile and the way that the house creaked and the hesitation in the shadows that flickered in the corners of your eyes that nothing bad would really happen here. It was like entering a haunted house, but the ghost was your grandma who always made you cookies.

So the main conflict of the dream was deciding which flowing death dress to get @sigmastardust and whether the ringed candle was a safe present for @eldritchscholar,

Ahhh!! :D Thank you! <33 I love leaving commentary on things (tags are such a great way to freely ramble), and I know how important it is for content creators to receive feedback, so I always try to give a little encouragement back when I enjoy what they make. :’3 It’s a deliberate choice on my part (knowing how I’d like to receive the same on my work), but yes! I dreamed @eldritchscholar, @sigmastardust and I were grocery shopping. They were both getting nothing but raw meat. Then I hugged eldritchscholar and he was just so cold, so very very cold. He looked me in the eyes, took my hand to lead me in a mini dance, sang “surprise motherfucker” and spun me into sigmastardust. They dipped me and whispered “we’re dead.”

Then they straightened up and asked if I wanted any produce.

the worst is that I’m pretty sure Netero hadn’t told Zeno, but what I wonder is that if Zeno wouldn’t have thought “he’s my grandson he’ll survive it and he’ll recognize it” if he knew. Kind of a Ging-fashion of “he’s my (grand)son he’ll survive”
