Interesting bibliographic feature of this 17th century thanksgiving sermon: The leaf shown above is leaf A1. Normally we would expect a page before the title without other content to lack a signature mark (and even when the title page is the first leaf of gathering A, it is very rarely labelled as such).
In any case, the printer found a pretty way to mark the beginning of the booklet!
