Just found out about this, so I’d like to wish congratulations and a speedy recovery to two of the lovelies on Trans Tumblr that I follow, Seranine Elliot (seranine, signsofastruggle) and Amelia Gapin (totallyamelia and a whole slew of other Tumblr blogs). Both have had GCS (aka SRS or “The Orchy”) within the past two weeks. And both fortunately had insurance footing some of the bill. Just a reminder to the uninformed that this type of operation sometimes does not occur this early into transition; a few people have had to wait at least a decade, or not have it at all. And it may occur while the patient is a teenager or a senior citizen. In any case, please send out your good vibes to these two.
