meet benjy fenwick, sad trash. and the love of his life, hestia jones.  this is my very loose request for her, but i’m happy to have her be a different character as long as the vibes remain more or less the same. pictured is eden bristowe, but pb is open (woc preferred). their tag in my blog for The Feels™. hmu on discord, lulu#6431. tw depression/suicidal ideation/alcoholism/etc.

the tl;dr: benjy and hestia dated while at hogwarts (he was a hufflepuff, she can have been whatever you want); he was mostly introspective but also consistently putting his foot in his mouth because he’s just chaotic like that; he also really, really loved her. 

that being said, after graduating he joined both the auror department and the order and proceeded to get progressively more reckless (bad); he also lost his dad in his early 20s (his mum died when he was a baby) and that made him completely spiral into a very deep depression, and general self-destructive behaviour. 

he is incredibly intelligent (like, genius level, though his dumbass actions would imply otherwise) and a mostly functional alcoholic, but especially at the time when this was all happening, benjy just... wasn’t at his best. this caused a looot of trouble in their relationship and ultimately saw them breaking up.

that said, he does still love her a lot and they remained friends, albeit not as close. i’m happy to work out details, and we can see as we write if they are endgame or not (in the past i’ve also had him involved with ms. amelia bones in the present~, so i’m down for all sorts of drama if it interests), but i just... love these fools and would like them to be a thing.
