Sigur Ros is my everything. TVOTR will never cease being my #1, but no musician has ever come close to the personal spiritual fulfillment than what Sigur Ros and Jon Por have gifted into my life.
...and I absolutely denounced this track as the worst thing they’ve ever done when it first released. This song singlehandedly openned the door for Jonsi’s personal career as well as broke the barrier constricting the band who artistfully mastered post-rock and shoegaze into pure artists. And yet... probably just barely sneaks into top 10 favorite Sigur Ros tracks.
