#satsuhart#octopath traveler 2#octo2#osvald v. vanstein#hikari ku#it's mainly about these 2 so i'll only tag them#anyway... comic idea i've had for months. sorta had to rush it because i'm flying home tmr jdfjrkgh but i'm still happy w how it turned out#i guess it's kind of a reimagination of osvald's ch3 banter... i wish they went more into how different their ideologies are#i've always liked how despite osvald's uh temperament he does take people seriously when he thinks they deserve it#and from their later conversations you can feel that osvald doesn't look down at hikari at all...#i think to me it's really key that these two aren't the type to divulge about their problems or pasts but they go about it very differently#i don't think hikari hides things from people intentionally or at least not out of malice or a lack of closeness. i think deep down he's#aware that despite all his suffering he's still led a much more comfortable life than others in ku#...i think about that line in ch5 where he says to ritsu that he would suffer any loss to fulfil his goals as if he hasn't experienced#so much loss already#SIIGGHH#comic
