Just some quick practice, my style felt a bit inconsistent TT

fem kakashi i drew after being hit by a beam of hyperfocus last night

speedpaint w/ questionable doodles + excessive yapping ↓

i was lowkey out of it while drawing 90% of this, also kept getting distracted by how much i love her LMAO

wasn’t originally going to be fem kakashi, about 30 seconds into sketching the hair i was just like “Oh. so that’s what we’re drawing!” also pretty much immediately after deciding it would be fem kakashi i made her a little more buff. usually try to draw kakashi pretty lean bc that’s how it is in the show but the allure of buff women got to me ok. she is trans btw <3 *cowboy voice* well i ain’t never gone n made a cis kakashi and i sure as hell ain’t gonna start now (no hate lol!! just know every time i draw him he’s trans, only in the other direction this time)

not sure if this doodle is intelligible—the one on her neck is kind of like the :P face but like a back view? licking her neck bc I WAS HAVING A FREAK MOMENT OK. #everyonegetweirdernow

was having trouble deciding whether to go spiky mode or sonic the hedgehog quill (curved/floppy) mode for her hair, settled on spiky bc to me that looks a little closer to sakumo’s! and thinking abt kakashi looking in the mirror and seeing her dad… ough. both from a trans dysphoria viewpoint and of course the good ol “im going to be older than him eventually” “what if i turn into him and abandon my kids” etc

i don’t usually do color bc i’m BUTT at it but decided to practice. tried out the airbrush for shading even tho it’s always looked like dogshit when i’ve done it in the past—i don’t think it was horrendous this time but i did end up scrapping it and doing solid shading bc that’s more familiar to me. any coloring tips appreciated i am hardcore struggling LMAO

had to replay a chunk of ch 4 because i accidently missed the gerson fight but this gave me the opportunity to read susie's letter to alvin for the first time (i don't know HOW i missed it)

AND ANOTHER THING about finding enstars's stories that may be stating the obvious but regardless: music!! getting localized but basic! staying region-locked does contribute to what keeps enstars kinda niche, at least in the west.

have you ever tried to pitch enstars to an irl that's like, a weeb but a normie (for lack of better term) level of weeb? yes the app you got off the app store is actually the second version. yes the first one has 5 years of stories and has most of the character development for most of the guys in the game. no its not localized. or a rhythm game. yes you have to use google and the wayback machine to find the translations of all those stories now because the wiki got striked. yes there is an anime and no it's not a reliable plot source actually. welcome to ensemble stars get your shovel and start digging
