I'll be honest, I am frayed well past the edges today my friends. Everything is happening too much, I feel like a failure, I feel like I'm about to fail everything etc. Oh! And the dog shit in her crate AND on the carpet. So yeah. I could use your prayers or positive vibes or whatever you've got for me.

There’s so many instances in TCW where “if only this happened then everything would be okay!” I love that show to death but it’s so heartbreaking knowing that nothing can be done to change what eventually happens. And now we’re finally at that point of no return. I have some emotions about his last season if you can’t tell.

Me, too, my friend. And there were so many points where if just one thing had changed:

If Anakin had only opened up to Obi-wan during the Rush Clovis episodes

If Obi-wan had only believed Dooku in AotC

If Ahsoka had only told the Council what Maul said prior to his capture

If the Council hadn’t succumbed to political pressure with Ahsoka’s trial

If Qui-gon hadn’t gotten so gung-ho about prophecy

If Dooku had only severed his ties with Palpatine

If if if if....

And that’s just off the top of my head. The last season was the worst for this, as they were teetering so close to victory, or at least, victory defined as the Jedi not being massacred and Anakin falling into the void. Sigh. It’s what I both love and hate about the prequels, in that they’re such a tragedy. An amazing tragedy, but also one that tears my heart out every time.

The constant struggle: Do I have time to draw?

The usual answer: Yes, but you’ll always choose something that takes too long and you’ll have to stop mid-way or finish it but forget the time and be late to whatever you’re upto next.

I need to stop interacting with Bruce blogs. Every time I do, I end up being super rude and these random people on the internet shouldn’t have to deal with that just because I can’t get my shit together.

Seventy Pages into 'The Chase' and I've got to admit...I kinda expected more from Summer and Fitzy. I liked both of them in Off Campus.

But they both are kinda meh as leads. Not bad, but just really mid.

Switching from a high-stress job into a chilled out one is a good idea...

...but maybe not for everyone.

I don't think it was one for me.

Was I tired while working my old job? Yes. Was it difficult? Also yes. Did I suffer? A bit, yeah. But did I still enjoy it? Also yes.

And now? Now I'm just BORED all day. I feel like I don't use my brain at all. I just stand around, clean up, change nappys and make sure that kids don't kill each other.

I love my colleagues and I like the kids, but damn it's boring. I'm wilting as we speak.

Needless to say, I don't think this job really is for me and I think I'll need to keep looking for something else - sigh.

The request I’m still working on is nearing the 10k mark, and I still have a decent chunk of the outline to write. 

One of these days I’ll be able to write with a little more restraint. This is, clearly, not that day.
