The king was still...a little hesitant when it came to the shadow but he still wanted to try at least. Shuffling in wrapped in his favorite MLP blanket and plopped down next to the other before his head rested on his shoulder. A tiny yawn escaping him as he give a little nuzzle.

There was a low hum from the shadow, head turning slightly to inspect the king. But he seemed to accept the other's presence. Why he ever wouldn't, was a question for another day. He reached a claw up, brushing it through the Wukong's hair. "Still groggy, eh, Sunrise?"

That's the laughter of someone who got what they wanted and they wanted something very unhealthy for them.

He proceeded to give the simian the most judgemental look he could possibly give. If it weren't visually obvious, Wukong's horrible attempt to deny it was enough of a give away. Macaque stepped forward, reaching a hand to flick the king's forehead harshly. "You don't fool me." He didn't keep close for long, taking a small hop backward.

"Don't be a fool, Wukong. If you don't deal with this now, it's going to bite you in the ass later." He crossed his arms over his chest. "Then how would the Kid feel?" Yeah, he was going there.

If this was just a regular cold then MK would not have even sought Macaque out, He knows how to handle colds from when pigsy would help take care of him growing up. Dealing with a sick Monkey King however that appears to not be able to control his power? That was not something he was going to tempt fate with to try on his own.

"Look I wouldn't be coming to you for help if it was just a standard cold, I would only come to you if it was bad and this is one of those times. I won't pretend to understand things between you two and I know that you both got a lot to work through. However, even you have to see that me trying to care of a sick Monkey King by myself who isn't able to regulate his power properly is a bad idea. So will you please help me take care of him? At least until he can get his powers back under control?"
