Siklab 2017: Off The Grid ⛰

Summer’s here, and the heat is on! As the weather gets hotter and hotter, one of the biggest music and arts festival in Luzon, SIKLAB, gets nearer and nearer. To prep for their event, SIKLAB has officially released their Off the Grid merch!

SIKLAB is an annual benefit event organized by the Architectural Students' Association of the Philippines - UP Chapter (ASAPHIL-UP).

For its seventh installment, ASAPHIL-UP has chosen Artreach as its beneficiary. Artreach is an art and outreach program geared towards partnering with NGOs and organizations to raise awareness for its advocacies. This 2017, Artreach expands its scope to campaign for environmental protection and conservation.

This year’s theme is all about the wilderness and going "Off The Grid", which is perfectly in line with the chosen beneficiary of environmental protection and conservation.

What I love about this line is that, not only is it functional and designed to suit the theme of the event, the pieces can also be worn with any everyday outfit, adding a bit of “fun” and “adventure” to make any outfit standout!

I can’t wait for Siklab 2017's line up of bands and artists. Two years ago, Siklab opened me to the world of local indie bands and artists like Reese Lansangan, Ourselves the Elves, Ang Bandang Shirley, Jensen and the Flips (and a whole lot more!), and since then, I’ve been a fan of theirs.
