I’m running a DND campaign for my niece and nephew, so I drew out their little party named “The Night Thieves.” Lilac and Godzilla are their characters, and the rest they picked up on the pre-made “Lost Mines of Phandelver” one-shot.
Some backstory:
Liliac is an escaped convict that was in prison for the murder of her parents. After escaping, she started doing quests to make money. During our adventure, she bribed a bunch of goblins with McDonald’s into being her followers, was crowned Queen of the Goblins, won over the big bad with a friendship bracelet, and made enemies with the king. She’s currently building up her evil army and is one day determined to rule the world.
Godzilla was raised at sea by his pirate father, and after being abandoned by his father, went on to become a pirate captain himself. But after a terrible storm, he lost his entire crew, his ship, and his best friend. He started doing side jobs to pay the bills. During the adventure, he picked up a spider friend named Leia, and became best buds with Sildren. His main goal in life is to cause as much chaos as possible.
Nezzar was *supposed* to be the final villain, but the heroes are so evil themselves, he ended up joining up with them. He likes his new friends, spiders, and reanimating dead corpses. Dislikes when his foods touch.
Sixty-Six is a goblin they fought with at the beginning, but after eating McDonald’s together and briefly kidnapping him, they became friends. He now follows along and sings about how much he loves McDonald’s.
Sildren was a former solider tasked with protecting his employer, Gundren Rockseeker, but ended up being attacked and getting kidnapped by goblins. They saved him, and he joined the party. Honestly, he has no idea what is going on. Mostly just does kickflips and vibes.
When we last left off, the whole party and the goblin army were escaping from the kingdom on a stolen ship, with a vow to return and take it over once they are stronger. So... I’m currently using another pre-made game to write up the next chapter of the adventure lmao. If you have any tips on DM’ing for kids, please let me know lol
