-Reasons for Talking Less #3

3. Lost in translation, but not even between languages, but between the receiver's ear to brain. 

I suppose it's all in tone and inflection, or pure habit.

This one's slightly more personal, but my voice has evolved through kid and popped out of puberty deeper (First, I'm a female so obligatory are you kidding me and second, I think it was puberty? but I can't tell cause I STILL HAVEN'T GOT BOOBS SO YEAH JUST ANY TIME NOW WOULD BE GREAT)

and has now reached a stage of: deadpan. Yes, I do admit I abusively exercise my right of sarcasm (wow much hipster - at least I'm not being IRONIC) 

BUT at least 55% of the things I actually say aloud were meant to just BE. I do not actively attempt to sound like some smartass/annoyingass/assass.

Unfortunately 100% of this 55% doesn't agree with a) logic b) human society c) any real sense anyways so it's just passed off as 'wow really theclassiccannibal really'

Q: When do you know it's too much?

A: When people's responses to FACIAL EXPRESSIONS-

i) you're being sarcastic right

ii) was that sarcasm

and then after 1) Yes it was:

i) geez you're so bitter

ii) knew it

OR 2) Actually no it wasn'-

i) Oh.

BUT THEY ALWAYS END WITH:

Uncomfortable silence. Not awkward. Just you know, lots of thoughts hovering in the air.

Judgemental thoughts. They're legal. They are. You know what's illegal though (in this instance, to a certain degree)?

Telling people "don't judge me". Cause they can.

- Reasons for Talking Less #1

1. I have a theory - to support the statement that only morons speak whatever's on their mind. I used to believe that honest people would do this too, not because honesty necessarily correlates with some level of stupidity but because I thought truly open people have nothing to hide. Past tense.

Scenarios according to intelligence/creativity/worth of content when contributing in discussion/engaging in conversation:

A) Intelligent Material:

- Will always be repeated louder or copied by some pathetic yet desperately attentive person nearby to make the whole room drop their jaws in 1) amusement and/or 2) awe of rather fake profoundness.

Conclusion drawn about yourself: Idiot, especially jealous idiot.

B) Stupid Material:

Conclusion drawn about yourself: Idiot, especially idiotic idiot.

C) Material about categories of material as supporting evidence for a resolution to talk less:

Conclusion drawn about me: Idiot, especially bitter idiot.

And that's why geniuses/people with brains:

A) wait for patents/copyrights before doing something brilliant or

B) keep silent until their ends

thus resulting in 

C) a world of pathetically recycling the same stupid thoughts.
