I really wish they'd just stop with the shock value murder. I prefer the half believable episodes but tbh the character interaction is the only reason I continue to watch. All the gore aside, I found that episode disorientating. 

The acting is good. The writing is starting to become questionable.

sorry for butting in like this- maybe you could give her something about how marijuana is a “gateway”drug? + while you can’t OD, it’s known to be able to cause panic attacks/anxiety disorder

actually researches show it's usually not a gateway drug i believe it is but she wants everything i give her to have solid proof behind it she needs to get completely convinced because if she won't be convinced she won't be able to stop  i have read about the panic attacks, though, but i'm not sure it'll be enough for her to stop she needs something like permanent brain damage and i haven't actually found proof for that

For the Calthazar Anon, there's this fic called Crossroads State by Mercy on AO3. It's an awesome 50k human AU, and I remember that I really liked the way Balthazar was written, since many people can't get it right. (It could be the one you mentioned? idek. Anyway, it's worth a read!)
