I just bought an iTunes gift card. Can you recommend me some Christian music. I got some from Matt Maher.

Yes! Sorry it took so long for me to answer this! Matt Maher is definitely at the top of my list, so good start! In no particular order, here are some other Christian artists that I really enjoy:

Chris Tomlin - his most recent albums are “Burning Lights” and “Love Ran Red,” plus he has a lot of great classics.

Rend Collective - they formerly had “Experiment” at the end of their name, but recently changed it. If you like Mumford & Sons, they are pretty much the Christian equivalent.

Hillsong - they have had some really awesome music come out, my favorite song probably being “Oceans.” Their music consists of a little more mellow worship songs, but powerful all the same. 

MercyMe - I haven’t actually listened to too much of them, but have heard from multiple people that they are really good. I really like their song “Greater.”

Matt Redman - He’s like Chris Tomlin in that he has done a lot of the “classic” worship songs. My favorite song by him is “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)” but there are many others that are equally great.

Bob Rice - Unless you’re really into the Steubenville scene, you probably haven’t heard of him, but I love Bob Rice a lot. He has a really folk-y sound. His latest album, “The Gospel Accordion to Bob Rice,” has a lot of—you guessed it—accordion, which I happen to like because you don’t hear it too often.

Phil Wickham - He has some awesome worship songs that are really upbeat. My favorite is probably “Carry My Soul” from his album “The Ascension.”

There are so many more artists that have been blessed with talents that I’m sure that other bloggers know, but these are a few of my favorite artists. I hope that this helps you out with personal praise and worship, and to fellow bloggers—please add more! God bless!

Questions I was asked: 1. What song is currently stuck in your head?-I don’t currently have a song stuck in my head.

2. What is recommended for you on Netflix?
-Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Pokemon, Murder She Wrote, Leverage, Top Gear, and several others

3. If you started a band right now, what would you name it and what would be the predominant genre? 
-ooh that’s interesting. I’m not sure. Maybe something poetic or dreamy or whimsical. Something like Strawberry Clouds. And the genre would most likely be electronic pop. 4. Ferrets: Y/N?
-yes!

5. How do you take your tea? Coffee?
-I like sugar and/or honey in my tea. Sometimes with milk. With coffee I like hazelnut creamer and sugar. I like both iced tea/coffee as well as hot tea/coffee.

6. Do you normally win or lose Never Have I Ever? And why do you think that is?
-I don’t think I’ve played that before. At least not in a win or lose way.

7. If you had to choose to live a fictional character’s life, whose life would you choose?
-all fictional characters have difficult lives so idk lol. Maybe Rapunzel? After she finished spending 18 boring years in the tower

8. Favorite ice cream topping?
-chocolate syrup.

9. Where is your Santa Fe? 
-I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking. The first Santa Fe that comes to mind is the one is New Mexico.

10. If your life was a musical, who would compose/write/lyricize the soundtrack?- Adam Young. Oh my gosh that would be so amazing.
