Élodie doesn’t know the name of the scrawny man on the ground nearby, but she doesn’t envy his fate, as the killer in the rotting pig mask stabs him in the hands, once, then twice—and finally slashes his throat, putting his dying screams to rest.
Yet she doesn’t show any fear when the killer senses her presence and turns her head towards Élodie. Instead, she points the beam of her flashlight directly at the eyeholes of the mask. “What are you looking at? Am I supposed to be the next?” she asks, her French accent just barely evident. “…Come and get me ‘zen.”
There are three more gens to do and only three of them left alive. If she wants there to be any hope of making it out alive, she’ll have to take the Pig for a good, long chase.
