I wanted so much to do life alone

Away from the commotion, the opinions, the expecting faces, the unspoken pressures, and you.

But I realized I can’t do this alone.

I am a woman torn between what sets her free and what makes her herself, what makes her grow and what keeps her sane.

I am silently crying out for help, Wishing that somebody, anybody will see me. For somebody to ask me what’s wrong? And know that I’m lying when I say “I’m fine” Because, darling I am many things, but “fine” is not one of them. I am the farthest thing from fine. I’m a disaster.
