✪ I will try my best to remain active! That said, I have an involved job in healthcare with long days and frequent on-call shifts with after-hour duties. I am selective. And I'll regulate how much I take on if I'm too overloaded.

✪ I'm only just getting back into the swing of writing and looking forward to developing some stories. But, I'd like to work on threads with mutuals who are interested in continuing some plot or story. However, Asks could be another great way to get to know my muse and vice versa initially. Asks will be kept open to everyone.

✪ The Island of the Sleepy Sands is a floating, shape-shifting island that camouflages itself in the clouds and is home to Sandy. It's location is meant to be constantly moving and hidden to all but Guardians. Please do not just jump on the island! Send me an ask and lets talk about it first!

✪ I'm open to shipping, however this requires open, direct communication between muns. I'd prefer chemistry building/ romance typically. I will only ever ship with mutuals that I've put the work in with the build a relationship with.

✪ That said, CONTENT WARNING. (18+ Only. No minors interacting please) I don't plan to RP smut and will do my best to avoid triggering subjects. However, I won't shy away from curse words, anatomical words, and other adult topics may still arise even if NSFW is not the focus. I will tag everything the best I can. SOME HABITS ARE EVER SO HARD TO BREAK. Even with her oldest friend, her first proper companion found so long ago, at a time where she lost everything and had absolutely nothing -- even now, there is a tinge of hesitation in the suddenly oppressively heavy air. Yet the stormclouds RETAIN their shape -- no rain falls, no snow, no hail. And as her pilot speaks ( aloud, light voice ringing like merry bells! ) the dark grey slowly gives way to softer white, pressure dissipating. ❝ You may find it silly... and I'd not fault you if so. I was only wondering. ❞ Though disembodied at first, the low voice is quickly given shape -- a slender cloaked figure, a stark CONTRAST to Sanderson himself. Endless waves of raven hair float in the wind without the slightest care for the laws of gravity while the glow of the dreamsand gives her complexion a burnished bronze tint. Yet she presents herself not as a goddess, now -- but as a FRIEND.

❝ For all these years you've slept-- ❞ Millions of centuries -- could he truly tell how long? Did he know how often she'd checked on him, how often she'd sit beside his slumbering self, ranting, ranting, ranting? When she was struck by calamities, had he also felt them? When meteors scarred her flesh, did he know? Questions, so many questions -- oh, she hopes he will not fault her for asking! ❝ Have you ever stirred? ❞

HC + Doodle's superstitions

ooooh superstitions! id say Doodle follows the pretty typical superstitions - blow out the birthday candles, knock on wood, four leaf clovers & wishing on shooting stars. Most of the superstitions normal mortals follow Doodle just sees as normal regular facts of life however thanks to his inclusion in the spirit world.

Woven from shimmering dreamsand spun into a vine-like thread, hangs an ornate dream catcher glowing with ethereal swirling patterns. The vines themselves cross back and forth revealing a golden egg woven into the outer shell with silver and emerald dream sand outlining blooming flowers. A wind chime of hollow wooden eggs hangs from the dream catcher, echoing softly.

Scrawled onto a note nearby reads, "You guard so many. Let this guard you too. Happy birthday Bunny!"

"Ah Sandy..." A careful claw delicately traces the intricate pattern of the dreamcatcher's woven vinework. Ghosting their way around the perfect oval egg shape before making their way to gently paw at the silver flower petals that shimmered like a dream vision themselves. A breeze neatly curled in through Bunnymund's window, tousling the hollow egg chimes into a soothing tune and rustling the Pooka's fur ever so lightly. Bunny smiled softly at the dreamweaver's gift, before a yawn overtook him - he'd almost wager the thing was somehow laced with dreamsand meant to knock him into a good long nap. He wouldn't put a soft prank hidden in a birthday gift past the mischievous star. "Ta Sandy... come visit sometime soon. When Ah'm awake."

    {the dreamweaver gave a snort and chuckle as his sand goggles were fitted in place over his eyes. to be honest they served no purpose other than he quite liked them and thought they looked rather good on him. he was pretty certain he was correct. 

               but that was another matter entirely and right now he had a night of dreams to spread. with inspiration of hopes, WONDER and fun within them. with the occasional precious memory that would resurface and kindle something within a child to help them grow and become.
