Silent Salt new favorite beast for sure he more than deserves it. Love that we got to see him before the corruption cus I think that’s the first time we’ve actually seen it in the beast yeast episode besides like statues and paintings right? Well there was eternal sugar but she was like kinda covered by the black streaks and stuff so. ANYWAYY I LOVE HIS DESIGN LOOK AT HIM LOOK AT MY BOY!!! The Kala Namak knight designs are also really cool
I hope we can see his horse in the story next time lol
valid crash outs tbh “Oh no? Where are all your loyal knights?” YOU KILLED THEM THATS WHERE??? Those cookies were lowkey pissing me off leave him alone 💔 he tried his best and yet he still fell to corruption :(( and he returns to his dearest friend to ask him to kill him oh <//3 Congratulations devsis for making me actually kinda care about yaoi for once. And ofc it just had to be doomed 💔💔 he is NOT gonna be happy when he finds out what happened to elder faerie… “Enough. Tis not time for despair yet” aka calm down bae
the plot twist ig? was kinda easy to figure out as the story went on but I still think it’s interesting, elder faerie and silent salt trapping the beasts and also making the new virtues? The latter was more of a surprise to me cus I thought ‘oh they just trapped the beasts and then the witches came along and took the soul jams from them’ but nah they’re just gone rn lol. I thought salt knew about the other virtues being corrupted at first because he was talking about how he couldn’t feel the other soul jams and was talking to elder faerie about making new virtues but ig he just thought they stopped following their virtues or smth? Instead of what actually happened…
but yeah considering he’s part of why the ancients have their souljams you’d think he’d see white Lily and the new soul jam and chill out but probably not. Even if he does he’ll probably find out about Dark Enchantress somehow and then get pissed off about that 😬 there’s a chance he could chill once he see’s she’s a holder of the soul jam but probably not. And maybe he’ll take pity on her for the DE thing but again probably not, he’ll just see what happened to him and the other virtues before, betraying their ‘divine purpose’ for evil and yadda yadda and will attack her for that and also for just being in his land since he doesn’t seem too happy about that and that’s probably how white Lily will awaken. Or maybe not idk I’m just ramblin. I’m hoping in the end though they can kinda befriend him since he seems the most likely to be on the side against the other beasts and dark enchantress. Especially since White Lily is the virtue of freedom and all he ever wanted was for cookies to have freedom, so she can like give a speech about that or smth idk. He’d also like the other ancients at least I would assume so cus they’re the ones who replaced them, to fulfill their duty to cookiekind better than they could. Cmon man can’t we just be buddies, can’t we just be pals 🥺
I assume we’ll see more interactions between him and white Lily, and also more with Pastry cookie and potential charcoal since this episode was mostly backstory so I’m very excited for that. From what we’ve seen I like how Pastry cookie and Charcoal cookie are like “no White Lily, don’t do that!” and she’s just like “shh I’m gonna do my own shit I got this trust”
