It wouldn’t be a magical school story if we didn’t have a corrupt faculty member researching the dark arts. Thornlee’s dumbass tried wiping Monica’s memory just for her to flip the spell back on him 😂 busting corrupt teachers and saving Cyril, what can’t our shy queen do?
The OST and animation when she saved Cyril went so hard. Notice how much more comfortable Monica becomes speaking and how she carries herself totally differently when in a fight/casting spells. You can actually see the moment she goes from being Monica Norton to being the silent witch, one of the Seven mages. She might not be able to hold conversations, but no one’s beating her in this magic shit.
Professor Thornlee’s dumbass could’ve literally just asked for a grant or more funding for research, but he knew he was in the wrong anyway so he needed a way to get funds without it bringing too much attention.
Omg Cyril and the prince feeding Monica while she’s half asleep is so cute 🥰 now that Cyril knows it was likely Monica who saved him that night, I can’t wait to see their relationship develop. He’s already being way nicer to her and the way he offered to help introduce her to everyone was so sweet. Very good episode as usual
