Hi! Please let your readers who love musical theatre know about End of the Millennia under IneffableAlien, a GO total rewrite of the RENT libretto! I don't typically self-rec, I think I've only done it once before but this is a huge project and I really don't want to let the other writers down by not getting readers! Also with new art and posters each chapter :) Songs released Tuesdays.

End of the Millennia: A Good Omens Rock Musical by IneffableAlien

A large-scale fandom project to completely rewrite every song from the rock opera RENT as featuring Good Omens characters.

As the writing team of this work, we seek to combine two much beloved worlds, while still respecting the serious subject matter of the musical by transposing its themes onto angels and demons as a metaphor for complete isolation from humanity.

A group of immortals—including God Herself, having been overthrown—in London’s Soho live in poverty as the result of a 4,000-year diaspora which started when humans attacked and destroyed Heaven and Hell. Now occult and ethereal together must struggle to survive, make art, find love, and navigate the mysterious illness ravaging their community.

14: a fic you didn’t expect to write

I mean, I knew I was gonna write it, but the scope of our side surprised me?  I thought it would be a one-shot.  now it’s probably going to clock in at 11 parts and 55-60k words, so.  that was a pleasant surprise!

24: favorite fic you read this year

I feel like a broken record saying this over and over again but it’s these three remain by @weatheredlaw.  Aziraphale having a crisis of fate and dealing with PTSD while he and Crowley holiday in Greece.  loads of emotions, well-written sex scenes, and great prose in general.  sorry for tagging you a hundred times with this, Cat.  😬

Can it be a WIP? I humbly self-rec "Time to Leave the Garden" (under the pen name IneffableAlien), my maximum-security prison AU where Fell is a new guard, AJ Crowley is an inmate on his unit, and they know each other from Eden, the juvenile detention center where Fell used to be a counselor. Enjoy Archangels as corrupt jail lieutenants, and angst, angst, angst for days :)

Time to Leave the Garden by IneffableAlien

Azra Fell, a former counselor at Eden Youth Rehabilitation Center for juvenile delinquents, has accepted a job as a guard at a maximum-security prison. The inmate janitor on Fell's housing unit, AJ Crowley, was a resident at Eden prior to turning eighteen.

Both Crowley and Fell have deep-seated regrets stretching back to Eden, but before either of them can address the ghosts of their dark pasts, they will be sideswiped by a corruption ring which threatens Crowley's chances of ever making parole.
