So I finally sorted out the HD issue. Turns out it wasn't the one from Crucial Tech. It was the Silicon Power 2tb that has the issues. This is the one I bought at a black Friday sale for half off a few years ago and was using it for my main OS until I realized it was causing all the issues I was having and replaced it with a WD Blue. I honestly don't know how it even got reconnected to motherboard. It was supposed to have been taken out of the case and disposed of but I apparently forgot all about it and the last time I was digging around in the case I plugged everything back into the board. Sounds like something I would do. Now I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver the new drive so I can pop it in my case and I can put this all to bed. Next on the list, transferring everything to the new computer. That has me a tiny bit nervous! lol
