The Mughal Empire and its royal family were a mystery to Eunae as well as her father, Emperor Seo. Her father inviting the emperor, consorts, and children over to their home, the Gyeongbokgung Palace. The royal family had a month to prepare for their guests. Eunae's father saw this as a way to gain another ally.
It frustrated her to no end, believing that they shouldn't be invited over just for business. She hated the politics, the game in all of this. Hidden daggers, wicked hearts is what she called it. Her thoughts on this were not hidden. Much to the annoyance of the Emperor and Empress Consort. Their fifth child, second princess; living in the world of her own.
Weeks go by she prepped herself for the royal family. Eunae was a studious considerate person. With and without a tutor, she dove in doing her best to learn their language. Yes, there would be translators for both families. But eunae wanted to communicate with them as best she can. She wanted to make an effort as much effort she put in learning english, italian, french, and mandarin.
The meeting between the royal families was going well so far. Emperors talking business while the rest of the family were off socializing. Eunae made sure that her appearance was acceptable. Her long dark brown hair pinned up. Gold gem-encrusted crown complementing the darkness of her hair. Her warm-colored hanbok was modestly loose yet still flattering. "How was the journey here? I hope that we didn't cause trouble for you or your family." Inquiring to the man closest to her. Her voice matched her; light and sweet.
