I love when people go overboard with their fan designs. Like yes, overexaggerate everything.

Give them extra hair, twist it into a different style, make it look nothing like canon. Give them freckles, scars, moles, extra/more noticeable details.

Add more to their clothes, give them extra layers, or less. Make the outfit tattered, battle worn. Make it cuter, fluffier! Give them symbolistic features. Give them horns, tails, wings, anything you can think of!

Make them interesting. Make them pleasing to look at! Make them have details that fit with the continuity! GO WILD WITH YOUR HEADCANONS!

Fanon was MADE to be molded from its original source. Fanon gives way to ideas canon never explored or used. So take advantage of it. DO IT!
