My internet is experiencing technical difficulties, so I might not be able to reply right away to things!
I can’t help but join in on this guy’s laughter XD!
Reminder that while we all play dungeons and dragons...
Dragons are playing Houses and Humans.

Apologies- Severus and Lily Continued
Merlin himself could seldom believe that the black-haired wizard was trying his damnedest to remain composed. His tear-stung eyes grew wetter by the moment, and Severus often found himself wiping blindly at them, his vision distorted, and only capable of making out the red of Lily's hair and the green of her eyes. His limbs seemed to tremble, and a terrible feeling of nausea chewed at the lining of his stomach. The moment did not seem surreal.. It matched many of the various scenarios that had played across his intellectual mind during sleepless nights and the equivalent of restless days, but still, the situation felt mocked. Severus should be engulfing Lily in his arms; kissing her cheek playfully; and seeing the genuine joy play across her beautiful face, betwixt her feminine features, and reciprocate similarly overwhelming life that she exhibited. Instead, the two remained broken, both caught in a daze, both surprised that a day of apology had finally come. Severus was helpless, entirely at her mercy, ready to crumble at any moment as another surge of tears bursted through his weak eyelids. As Lily spoke, his reserve lessened, and an unintentional whimper escaped the chapped lips. Severus needed to regain some strength. He needed to formulate the words that had long ago been pondered. He needed to prove to her that he was genuine in apology; that his terrible decision a year ago had been a fluke in character, and nothing more. Inhaling shakily, Severus removed the remaining sadness from his cheeks, and took a tentative step towards her. "Lily," he breathed, her name sounding smooth from his mouth, feeling so common to him- because even without her by his side, a day did not pass without him thinking of her- speaking of her- remembering her- and most essentially, loving her. "I became engrossed in a magic that isn't admirable.. It is dark, encompassing, and vile.. I made terrible decisions befriending Mulciber and Avery." Severus peered into the green eyes that so often plagued his only sweet dreams and reminded him of why he continued to walk and to breathe and to somehow survive. She was his purpose. "I was the dumbest fool in existence. I never deserved you, Lily. You gave me life. And I didn't give you the respect that you deserve. I removed myself from those dastardly Slytherins. I have been planning this moment for months.. But I had to get away from them for your own safety too." His eyes never once left his beloved redhead's as he took another cautious step forward. "The truth is that I haven't stopped thinking about you. I made sure that I punished myself for what I said." He thought of the self-harm, the sleep deprivation, the drowning in tears. All of it never deleted from his memory. "I meant what I said to you years ago in that meadow," Severus spoke ever-so-quietly. "Your blood status has never mattered to me. Not once. You are more special than anyone I have ever met. Even if you don't accept my apology, I need you to at least know that that was never a barrier.. That it should never be.. And that... I..." He paused, the tears returning. "I always loved you... I still do... And that I am sorry." The lily in his fingers remained there. He took one step forward, and placed the flower in between strands of her hair, much like he had done several times when they were children, and then stepped back, in respect of her privacy, shaken to the core with sadness and crippling guilt for his terrible mistake.
its always weird + confusing when u see different pics of the same artwork on the internet and they're all coloured a bit differently bc colour matters so much to a lot of art + can make a big difference to the whole feel of the thing
