Can I get some hcs where clotted cream is with a reader who is autistic and is just...the embodiment of an emotional support teddy bear via them always up for a hug?

All the facts considered, the man has an incredibly stressful job, especially when he's dealing with the Ancients, or the Council, or the general public... everyone, really. Presenting a confident and assembled persona all the time is incredibly taxing on the mind and body.
That said, having you by his side became an essential part of his day, so you get to hang out in his office whenever he isn't in a meeting. You have to occasionally leave when someone comes in to talk business, but he invites you right back in as soon as his guest leaves.
I can imagine him just sighing and opening his arms as soon as you re-enter the room, an open invitation that you'll happily accept. You can feel the way he practically melts against his chair every time you enter his embrace.
He hugs you for a long time and often, especially if he was speaking to his father beforehand.
He's tenser after those types of interactions, but the reassurance that the world could go on that your presence brought was enough to keep him from becoming too frayed.
You're a lot like a body guard, and as his partner have the special privilege of being able to go almost anywhere he does, but there are occasionally trips (such as going to meet the Ancients for the first time) that he deemed a little too important or risky to bring you along with him, not wanting to unintentionally overwhelm or stress you out in the often tense and hostile environments he can find himself in.
When he comes back to the Republic after those types of trips, it's less of a hug and more like he wraps you in his arms and crashes on his bed from the emotional wear of his trip. Hopefully, you don't mind staying with him for a nap, regardless of the time of day.
