. KING PRAWNS LAKSA The end to my #comedy of errors I returned from my #bali trip because I had a appointment at the #hospital for an #MRI scan. I had large #burns on my legs from messing around with #motorbikes in Bali. On Easter weekend, I had some #BBQ #chicken and cracked a tooth. So I went to the #dentist today who said it was complex and required surgery. I had to get a note from my GP. Hmmm. I'm on the train and I get a call from the hospital - apparently there was a 'major incident' with MRI machine and they would need to postpone. Bugger it. 4 months wait for appointment, return from Bali, cancel date in #bangkok and now wait again. So I go to my favourite #malaysiancurry place in the city. Guess what? They're out of everything. Except Laksa . How dare they? So I have a #kingprawn Laksa . When I'm going home, I notice people staring directly at me and #smiling Then I realise I have this #sillygrin plastered across my face! And people are smiling back. Why? 1. None of this is life threatening. 2. I'm grateful I wasn't in the MRI machine when the 'major incident' occurred 2. I'm under the Australian Health System not the American one or any other... 4. I haven't had Laksa for months maybe a year. 5. I'm grateful my tooth broke here back home instead of Bali. And, 6. First world problems. Life is still good. Just pissed off I don't get room service and housekeeping when I'm back home. Volunteers?? 😉😁😉 (at Sydney, Australia)
