Do you even think that Clingyduo is somehow like TwinsDuo? Like they are both the opposite of the other duo. Yet they work differently.

Clingyduo are the opposite of the other yet they grew up with a dependency that twinsduo doesn't have. They always come back to each other and most of the symbology that we put on them are opposites that need each other to work. Like the boat and anchor metaphor, where one can't stop and the other can't move.

TwinsDuo are twins, the same. Yet they grow opposite while still being twins. They have the same opposite symbology that Clingyduo has, but it is used to explain the similarities of the differences that they have. We put something similar in both (glasses) but we use it to explain the opposite (Wilbur doesn't need it but techno needs it). Yet they don't need each other to work, they just make the other stronger by covering the weaknesses (Wilbur being better at talking and Techno being stronger at fighting).

It's maddening how both duos are opposites but one is identical in their differences and the other was never the same yet never needed to be.

So, yeah, I have been going crazy trying to explain this feeling for over 3 months and I think you may understand me better than a mosquito

Maybe there's a world where they too like Tommy and Tubbo reunited and turned back to being friends. Maybe Tommy and Tubbo see how close and in sync the twins are and how they compensate perfectly for each other and they try to do the same but are too similar for that to ever work and only ever break themselves s bit trying to defend the other. Thinking about TwinsDuo and how they grew up to be twins. They never were in the original start of the duo, and they could not end in that. They could have been polar opposites in the image of just two people that somehow are the exact opposite of the other. Yet, they are twins. The identical twins.

We could have gone with Wilbur+Glasses that he doesn't need and Techno+No glasses but damn he needs them. Or with Natural Hair Soot and Pink artificial Hair Blade. Or Tall Stick Wil and Buff Shorter Techno. That would make them polar opposites and that will be.

Yet, they are twins first and then opposite. They both use glasses even if just one needs them. Techno has pink artificial hair but he had natural brown hair like Wilbur's. And they started with similar body types but changed with time.

They always start as twins and we don't need that to make them polar opposites but damn, they are twins. Wilbur uses glasses because of Techno's need for glasses, Techno has his hair pink and long and somehow now he takes more care of his appearance than Wilbur and Wilbur is still shit at sport violence but Techno is even more shit with instruments.

But actually no, because Techno plays the violin while Wilbur plays the guitar. And actually, Wilbur is good at passive violence and makes your life so hard that you wish for a punch from Techno. And you what? Maybe Wilbur doesn't put that much in his appearance, or maybe Techno doesn't. Or maybe both don't, or they just care about something about their appearance. And that works in anyways because they're twins they are supposed to be identical in every difference.

That's why both have glasses and both are good at violence and have insomnia but one sleeps through the day and the other has a problematic need of caffeine though the day.

They are opposite twins and it's great because they can be just opposite (glasses Vs no glasses) or identical (both glasses but still not the same). It gives so much to play with!

We go from "Wilbur plays and Techno reads" to "Wilbur reads musicals, theatre and poetry and Techno reads mythology, history and gardening" where they both read but they read different things".

The way they scrunch up their face when thinking. How they push up their glasses when they fall. How they push back their hair while reading.

They have their own lives. They're different, they have their own thing but they laugh the same. They have the same tired replies to snarky remarks. They leave q space for the other while reading next to them because they're so used to him sitting next to them even when they haven't done it in so long.

They're Technoblade and Wilbur but they're also the Twins.

TWINS TIME

I always like the "one of the twins started as a shape shifter copying the other one and they got adopted and supported enough to get a fucking life and stop copying the other (aka: develop a self image)". AND SOMEHOW I ALWAYS PICTURE TECHNO AS THE SHAPE SHIFTER BUT TODAY THAT CHANGES, MY BOY HAS BEEN THROW ENOUGH HE HAS DONE A LOT OF BELL CALLS TO MAKE HIS NAME KNOWN AND MURDER A LOT OF PEOPLE (EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICALLY) TO BE THE LEGEND HE IS NOW.

TODAY, Will is the shape shifter. I'm between and kid Will finds the most scary kid he can in the playground and shifts into them to not be bullied and 20's wet cat Will is having a crisis because he doesn't know who he is and just starts copying the most cool guy he can find (lame) mournfully, that guy is Techno doing a cosplay (they cosplay stays on for like half of the story and at some point Techno even supports the idea for a while).

Wilbur shifted into the scariest guy in the playground at 8 and then years later has a crisis cause really he's kept that look mostly going for all his life and suddenly it comes crashing down on him all at once and just as he's considering taking from the people around him to make himself a new look he meets The Same Guy
