So in the car on the way home tonight, @magpiescholar, New Family Member, and I were talking about Feanor and parenting (as one does when coming back from hanging out with the local queer nerds), and they made some comment about the pressure he probably put on his kids and I was all “Oh, wow, that sounds familiar.” 

To which Magpie said, “Oh honey, your parents are so much worse than Feanor.”

And NFM agreed.

So, there’s a sobering thought. My parents are worse than Terrible Dad Feanor. *laughsigh*
