i have had breakthrough thoughts about kaisei's manager, who has been present in the story for like

forever

but has been elusive beyond his role as manager

so he has a name now, a face, and some more info!!!!

his name is silve, and he is a kitsune. i know i have kitsune oc's (rip aya and suzune), but he needs to be one.

the thing is, he is able to use his charms to make deals and convince people to make contracts through him (for entertainment and other show biz type things, of course) he's known in the industry as the "honorable kitsune" because once he has your trust, he makes good on his end of the deal, and so a lot of people seek him out for opportunities in the entertainment industry.

the thing is, he's good at what he does because he knows how to figure out if a potential client is worth anything or not - he knows when he can work with someone into getting them good connections and when they aren't worth the trouble.

also, to keep kaisei as the mc (i was having second-guesses about whether he should stay as the mc or if ciro should become the mc), i'm thinking of starting the story with silve informing kaisei that he was able to get him a contract with the company ciro and yoai work for (not necessarily with them, he reminds kaisei, who is flipping out thinking he'll get to work with his idols).

that whole part is also on my mind, i'm thinking ciro and yoai don't own their own independent company. they're a subdivision of a larger company, the way like, hot topic is the big name brand, but they have lots of smaller designers and groups that get advertised and sold under them the thing is, ciro and yoai are very popular and in turn get touted as their kind of ~golden child~ brand they can see what sells well and they want to promote that for the big bucks.
