Hi :) so I had seen your post regarding dream Lilia secretly falling for his human partner and unknowingly growing jealous of himself and I wanted to know your thoughts regarding if he’d pursue them if interpreting they are single somehow. Like MC saying something about their husband but also trying to be vague as to not give anything away too early. Like “Oh he’s not with us at the moment” or “It’s like I can still hear his voice” or something along the lines that make them sound divorced or widowed. Do you think any of that would even matter and that he’d keep his feelings to himself given the slight shame he feels?
Also I can’t help but giggle at the thought that when the day is done and everyone is okay he realizes he was just jealous of himself lol
i feel like he WOULD try to pursue them once hearing they're technically single (he definitely wouldn't go for them if they told him they were taken imo) but would take his time, like he wouldn't be too quick and careless about it, assuming you probably couldn’t move on so quick after recently losing the love of your life
despite general lilia's hostility and dislike towards humans, he still understands the feeling of losing someone you love regardless of who you were, and can’t help but pity you, and feels it’s better if he kept his feelings to himself instead of doing nor saying anything yet
or maybe just at all at that, because that feeling of shame for falling for a human during such a time still twisted deep in his chest
also, he’d likely fall silent after you told him your husband passed, that cold barrier of his falling slightly as his stoic expression falters before murmuring a small sorry for your loss. of course, due to not being given much context, he would probably assume you must’ve lost your lover during the war, especially if you told him your husband was a fae
an addition to learning your lover was a fae, he would be initially surprised and a little confused that a human and fae ACTUALLY managed to get together, but something in him just can’t find it weird with you—as if he perfectly understands why your husband fell for you
he was a little suspicious with how awkward you were telling him about it, narrowing his eyes a little, especially with how you refused to look him in the eye lmao
