Source/Exo Memory dump

I have two-ish? Sets of Source "timelines" that I tend to have memories from. One is pretty much exact to the manga (maybe a little darker), and then the other one, which is gonna be dumped here, is kind of a blend of the manga & games, but way more grimdark. I was the son of Giovanni and Ariana, my name i go by now, Lucien, is what they named me, at least I think it is? Maybe the source memories of being called that are there as a justification for me going by that name now but it really doesn't matter. I was raised in Kanto, grew up there in Viridian city basically my entire childhood. Team Rocket was very scientifically minded, Giovanni practically being a mad scientist. He wanted the PERFECT heir and someone who would strike fear into others so I was practically raised to be a weapon & had some DNA splicing stuff done to me so I wasn't fully human.

I don't have much memories of my mother, but she certainly wasn't as cruel as Giovanni was (funny bc my manga timeline is the opposite way around). I was around 14-ish when Giovanni and I went separate ways, I practically ran away from home after getting into a fight with him. I managed to make my way to Saffron City, where a guy whose name I cannot recall took me in. He owned a motel and practically let me live there for a few years & paid me to help out. This lasted until Rocket started taking over the city & Kanto. He gave me money so I could hop on the magnet train to Johto, but Rocket was already there waiting for me, I was around 16 or 17 and I had to basically fight my way through them. I did make it to Johto nonetheless, but was on my own and fending for myself. I only had one Pokemon at the time, and that was my Sneasel. If I nicknamed him, I don't remember it. But he was practically my only friend. Unfortunately Rocket caught up to me again after I made it to Johto, and my Sneasel was almost killed by them. That's the incident that really solidified my coldness towards others. He was ultimately ok but I REFUSED to battle with him, which is why I ended up stealing Totodile from Elm's lab. Enter Lyra: We encountered each other in Cherrygrove like in the games. When she saw my totodile in battle she IMMEDIATELY connected the dots and confronted me. I told her i had to do what was necessary to survive. She was understanding, returned my ID, recognized my last name, and said she wasn't going to rat me out. After she left, I ended up following her back to New Bark, and eavesdropped when she was talking to the cops and Elm. She spun a story to the cops about how "the redhead with the sneasel" didn't have a sneasel. Of course after they left she told Elm and Ethan the truth, but managed to get them to not let the word get out.

When I had the chance I thanked her, she absolutely saved my ass, and also managed to get me a pokedex because Elm was sympathetic and wanted her to give me one. Ethan... not so much. He wasn't the happiest about everything (Ethan and Gold were VERY different between timelines.) Lyra in my timeline was Kris, that was her nickname, i think her full name was something like "Lyra Crystalis Blackthorn". Tree based surnames were common in Johto. Anyways Lyra and I got close, very close. We were both 17 when we met, and eventually made our way to Kanto. She helped me be softer and more vulnerable, especially towards my Pokemon. She was patient with me and my anger issues. When I told her about what Giovanni did to me, she didn't think I was a freak. The DNA splicing did lead to blackout rages (at least thats the best descriptor). It was like I lost control of myself, and usually passed out afterwards. I think he spliced my DNA with Yveltal's, which is a whole can of worms because how did he get his hands on the DNA of a Kalos legendary? And if I initially formed in-system around 2011/2012, that was prior to the release of X/Y. I'm not paid to worry too much about it though. At this point I practically consider my source timelines to be past-lives, sure the memories can be symbolic/metaphors of things we went through in this current life too, but eh whatever. Point is I had my DNA spliced with a highly destructive pokemon and was practically a ticking timebomb of a person. Lyra didn't hold that against me. I know my Sneasel did eventually evolve into a Weavile and rejoined my team as my Ace, a role shared with my Feraligatr. I think Silver may have been a nickname Lyra gave me? I know I went by both Silver AND Lucien. I have some median-subsystem type deal going on now, and I think I had that then too. I remember there being a large ball in either Celadon or Saffron city, I think it was Celadon. It was a Rocket event bc Rocket had p much full control over Kanto. Lyra and I went to gather info, but things went south real bad. Even though it was a masquerade, they knew who I was. This is the one instance I really remember the aftermath of a blackout. It wasn't pretty to say the least. I think I may have fully shapeshifted? I don't know. I remember her being terrified, but she still made sure I was ok when I woke back up. I don't really recall any events after that though. I'm sure more exomemories will come to me with time, but man.
