I thought it would be fun to share, especially since I didn't draw them facing the front. my process went from left to right along the margin and then slowly up, you can see just one outfit from the right on the bottom line Silver's outfit, and as you reach the top you can see Sebek's)
Do I think they'd go to the moon? No.
Okay proper answer:
In terms of like their stance as people, no way are they going to the place where their enemies live on the stance of being amicable. Sebek definitely wouldn't, and Silver wouldn't either. I could see Malleus going, and that obviously opens a whole new bag of worms. Because obviously, there's no real equivalent of liege here (I will come back to this) but they do care for him. If Malleus wanted to go, I could see Sebek being totally aghast with that. It's difficult figuring out what he'd do because a) he's Sebek. His liege can do no wrong, and b) the lunarians are the enemy. You can't be going there. He's very fearful, though he disguises it with hate and distrust. He's like well of course I don't want him going there!! But he never explains that he's scared that Malleus will go and get hurt and never come back. Which is blasphemous cos he's Malleus.
I don't think Sebek'd go. I think he'd want to want to go, that he should want to be by Malleus' side no matter what and his fear should be pushed aside for that, but I think Silver gets to him first. Silver tells him it's alright to be scared, to be unsure, (they probably have a massive fight about it) and that he'll go with Malleus, and Sebek can stay with Lilia on Earth. Lilia I feel like would very much like to go, not least of all because they have Raverne and Maleanors corpses still, but I suppose curiousity. Raverne always wanted to work towards some peace with them after all, and this is their chance. I think he'd stay ultimately since Silver and Malleus are already going.
That's the other thing about the moon, it's also used as a narrative device. All the people who are unsure about themselves are the people who head to the moon mostly, and it's one character per pair. For Sebek, the main struggle with his character is his human aspect. In canon, if you took Sebek and asked him would he want to replace his human father with a Fae, he might dither, but ultimately in his heart he knows he'd never.
Thing is, try to have that conversation with Gem Sebek (gems that are famous for stagnating in their feelings and problems), I think he'd still have a problem with his human side. There's been no real catalyst for him to try and accept himself, especially considering his father isn't actually in his life. All that apatite is weakness, and especially as things start ramping up in the build up to the moon arc, I definitely think that gets emphasised to him.
Silbek are kind of like Bortz and Dia in this way, that they should both be as strong as each other but Dia has this weakness (their toughness and fracturability in a certain direction) that Bortz doesn't have and their complex about being useless compared to them. Weak as Sebek's joints are, it's not apatite itself that's the problem. His main problem is that it's a weak link with his sapphire body. If he was fully apatite, with none of the expectations that come with being a sapphire, he'd be way more fine. it's the fact he's a combination that he struggles so much with. this reflects both his problem in canon about not being fully fae, but also that he'd probably never have a problem being mixed if it weren't for the fact everyone in his home hates humans and that gets reflected in him. a lot of gems like calling phos 3 and a half in regards to how weak they are, and I don't doubt that Sebek probably gets called something similar, especially with the amount of times he needs to see the doctor because his joints break.
He's usually pretty fine in battle, especially with how fast he is, he can dispatch a sunspot pretty easily. He tries his best to be careful, but around his fellow Fae equivalents who of a higher hardness and are therefore capable of scratching and breaking him, I don't doubt they weren't the kindest gems and didn't really care if they broke him. (I will get to world building!!)
So anyway in regards to Sebek heading to the moon for character exploration reasons, I can see it. He's got a lot of problems, and maybe he can become whole there and get rid of the apatite in his body and replace it with sapphire and remake him as he should have been. Silver doesn't have any real narrative issues, except maybe the fact Lilia's dying in canon and where that leaves him, but there's no death equivalent in hnk. I drew the both of them on the moon because I want to even if I think it'd never happen.
(I know I wrote at the beginning my answer is no neither would leave for the moon and I just kinda contradicted my answer... It's complicated alright)
(and i know the previous lore post was about sebek shattering which takes place before the moon arc so like. he cant exactly be here but i wanted to explore an alternate timeline!)
Onto world building! It really depends. I do imagine that the whole ensemble cast is here pretty much. I already said Sebek's mother and grandfather exists so obviously gems outside of the NRC cast exist too. Maybe they all have their mini colonies scattered across the landmass? And then NRC (the main colony) is where our story happens, where gems are carved and their purpose is found. Almost like a reverse canon NRC situation - a few gems, our NRC villain equivalents, didn't want to live with each other anymore and branched off to make mini colonies across their landmass. Whilst they're at NRC though, I do imagine they have division/branch leaders kind of like the dorms just to help keep track of everyone, and that would be the main status difference between silbek and Malleus. I probably need to explore and flesh this part out more.
Obviously, feasible gems are rare and they get taken to the moon all the time. At the start of the original, canon hnk timeline, there are 28 gems. The main twst cast is that give or take, and then there's all the extra ensemble cast and those we haven't even met yet. Pretty populated. I'm electing to not think about it since it's not important to the story I want to tell currently.
And Silver! I think I may have figured something out with him! We can make him an artificial gem created on the moon, created by the dawn knight and Leah who were both scientists that specialised in the gems. They made him just to see if they could replicate the process gems were made on earth, but he was just a lifeless body due to the lack of natural inclusions. They couldn't bring themselves to destroy him, but they didn't want him to remain in stasis like this.
Lilia, wandering one day, noticed a tiny sunspot. So tiny he thinks it might just be his vision, and it's a singular lunarian placing the shards of Silver down in the grass in a basket with a pearl adornment and leaving immediately. I imagine they quickly realised that Silver was empty, and I think a process similar to Padparascha happens where they just systematically replace his body with scraps from their birthplace that didn't manage to fully form and eventually his synthetic moon body is entirely replaced with real inclusions. Moonstone comes in a variety of colours, including yellow. We could do that he was just replaced with the white moonstone I draw him as. I do want it to take quite a while on Lilia's part to replicate Silver's 400 years asleep. I imagine the rest of their colony were Not pleased about hosting a child of the moon, but what were they going to do?
It might also be a fun way to incorporate his drowsiness, his inclusions strangely separated from one another due to his original lunarian frame so they can't share energy between them, esp since they're photosynthetic organisms and half his body is clothed he's not very energy efficient
This leaves Silver with a kind of Theseus' ship dilemma. Sure, he was born from the moon, but his whole body was replaced. Every part of him is a child that came from Earth. Is he truly a child of Earth? What was his whole upbringing for if his supposed true homeland is the moon? It gives him a lot of the same dilemma as he does in canon, but it does bring up an issue (bladevale is only briar valleys enemy. but if we make them the lunarians, they're all of twisted wonderland/earths enemy, but obviously they aren't in canon.) but once again!! We're ignoring that!!
It very much gives him the same sort of blessing he gets in canon of his hair changing colour, except instead of his hair it's his whole body. (I do wonder where they kept silvers original moon body). With this added part to his character, I honestly think it's a 5050 if he'd head to the moon. I think at the beginning he'd be open to it, but after Lilia pulls the whole 'thats your true home and where you should be' he immediately does a whole 180 and absolutely refuses to leave. It's a little complicated since obviously he's a gem, not a lunarian himself, so that part of his character dilemma is toned down almost. He's not an actual lunarian, someone caused so much hurt, just one of their creations.

Right, so let me get this straight [cw/tw mention of child abuse]:
Ryland Grace [Project Hail Mary] and Colt Seavers [the Fall Guy] are identical twins and their older brother is Courtland Gentry -aka Six- [the Grey Man] with an about 7 year age difference. But their surname is originally Gentry for all three of them (later on Ryland gave himself their mother’s maiden name 'Grace' and 'Seavers' is Colt’s stage name). Their mother died giving birth to the twins which made their father -who already was an angressive man- abusive, so mostly Court raised the twins.
Later when the twins were 8 y/o and Court 15 y/o, for some twisted reason their father tried to drown Ryland in the bathtub. In order to save him, Court had to take their father’s gun and shoot him. He was separated from the twins by the police and was sentenced to 35 years in prison. At 22 he was approached by the CIA and they faked his death to recruit him into the Sierra Program, the cover story was that he “died in a prison riot”. The Grey Man movie plot happens and at some point he dates Tangerine [Bullettrain] (not a RyGos).
Meanwhile, after Court’s arrest, the Coltland twins get adopted by their estranged uncle (on their father’s side) Holland March [the Nice Guys] who is in an established relationship with Jackson Healy and has his canonical daughter Holly become sorta like a half-sister to the twins. They might at some point meet their cousin (on their mother’s side) Lars Lindstrom [Lars & the Real Girl] who might be dating Driver [Drive].
Then the plot for the Fall Guy happens. Ryland may or may not have a fling with Tom Ryder (depending on who you ask). After that Colt gets back together with Jody (canon). Then Ryland gets recruited by Stratt and gets launched into space, leaving only an unread voice message behind for Colt. During his coma on the way to Tau Ceti, Ryland dreams up Ken [Barbie]. Then in space he meet his platonic soulmate Rocky and later on the way to Erid, they pick up Simon [Iron Lung] whom Ryland gets into a queerplatonic relationship with.
People keep talking about Colt knowing that Ryland didn't get on that ship willingly, but I raise you to what I feel is more realistic.
Colt doesn't know what happened to his brother at all
He knows that Ryland was working with a team to stop the sun from dimming, he knows his brother was very important in his role there, where ever "there" is, what ever he is doing, but it is all locked down so tight, Colt is hardly allowed to know anything.
Project Hail Mary is a secret, Ryland didn't even know a spaceship capable of that kind of travel was possible, this is top secret government information.
Colt doesn't know about the launch of Project Hail Mary, he doesn't know his brother was sent to space.
He is contacted and given some vague explanation that his brother passed in an accident, and his body was unable to be recovered, Colt is given his brother's death certificate, and left with more questions then answers.
The one thing that he is certain about is that there is something he is not being told
