I would like to remind people that the show The Golden Girls which was about four elderly women was ahead of its time in many ways and it was not just standing for women by showing us that older women who have been married before and had children can STILL find true love and be worthy of it.
It was just as much standing up for older men in the exact same situation. We are not cars or products. We are human beings. Our experience and age does not make us less worthy of love nor should we be shamed or discouraged from pursuing it in our silver years.
So yeah, I would love to see more medias that positively show silver romances because they are just as beautiful, romantic and they are as consenting adults as they come. Let's end this stigma starting with fiction because kings and queens deserve love just as much as princes and princesses do.
