I'm not very familiar with previous generations. But I'm intrigued by this little one. I like her tiny lore, as well as her design. I also love mommy characters.

“White as Unicorns”

The Illumination-like silver swirlies of this family won my heart from the start! The mother/baby duo is from my childhood, the other is from a bit later (yes, my baby has two mothers, also I have the little horn but I forget it for the pic...)

The royals have arrived!

After sketching Moon Shadow and brainstorming on this G2/G6 concept I decided to draw the royal family next.

We have Queen Silver Swirl who basically looks like she does in her G2 design. Her swirling cm is tied to her magic ability and has spread with age. She is a regal and fair leader that moves with much grace.

Princess Diamond Glow is a character fusion that comes from the G2 unicorn with the same name as well as Silver Swirl's daughter Swirly. The idea was to use those ponies to make something similar to Silver Swirl without her looking like a clone. My take comes from Diamond Glow's original horn design and cm as well as Swirly's canon relation to Silver Swirl. In my G2/G6 concept Diamond Glow would act as an honorary main character as a way to introduce us to the world of Ponyland and all its magic. She is a curious pony that hasn’t left the castle much before the show begins.

King Golden Glow is based on the pony Golden Glow and the character I have the least ideas for so far. I did depict him with my version of alicorn wings in this drawing but I’m pretty sure that I’ll change them into regular pegasi wings. My initial idea was to make him an alicorn too but it felt unbalanced to make him one and leave Silver Swirl as a unicorn…

And yes, Diamond Glow is wearing the rainbow locket👀

It can be any character pony or not and if you don’t know much about a certain gen you can just simply pick one that looks appealing to you

I’m not exactly happy with the mlp gen6 cast (you can’t just take the mane six and kill two of them what are you doing) so I kinda wanna do a fangen cast. Not like a whole fangen but just a main character cast.

I already know I want it to be a main six so have choices, and I know I want it to be either a 2 of each thing like gen 4 OR add more species too it. Also gonna want four girls, one enby one guy (like G5 was meant to have, allegedly). I wanna pick from across gens, having at least one from each.

I know for sure I want Starsong and Zipp on there, being my favorite g3 and g5 characters respectively. I’m also thinking about maybe, weird pick, but what about Ocellus for the G4 pick? Or the more normal pick of Sunset. I know I don’t want mane six from G4 on there, maybe G3 rarity but like. They literally just have the same name those are separate characters in every other way. Also considering maybe Silver swirl for the G2 rep. Idk I’ll figure things out
