i think my form and family :(( even though i’m still a hedgehog in the headspace, existing in a human body is Weird. and i also miss all of my sourcemates! we have quite a few in system, but there’s someone very important to me who isn’t here . -silver

💗 What helps you feel closer to your source (in a positive way)?

definitely fanart and spending time with my sourcemates! there’s some really wonderful drawings of me that fits what i look like pretty well, which is always awesome -silver

a combination of the characters and story! sonic media is all about love and family, told through the adventures of a funky little blue hedgehog. it’s just really… warm and familiar for me? not just because it’s my source lol, we’ve been sonic fans since we were little :) -silver

I don’t have dreams about fandoms, but sometimes I will have a sneeze related dream about someone in my life like a friend or colleague and I definitely need like 3-5 days to recover from the trauma of that. I wake up and feel betrayed by my own brain. It’s so evil.

OMGGG anon this is so much worse!! With fandom I usually just get kinda giddy about it, even when it's not a fandom I usually want to think about that way haha. I HATE when it's someone you know though or worse, someone you know of which you NEVER want to think about in that context 💀 thankfully this hasn't happened too often to me but there have been times and it's soooo ugh no thank you 😭 it really does take a few days to feel no longer weird about it!!

i’m personally super chill w them!! i think it’s cool to meet other versions of myself >:)) pretty much all of the fictives/fictionkin in our system are good w doubles- some of us are a bit uncomfy but don’t really mind? it depends but overall we r very double friendly :D -silver

it made me SO so happy that people draw me as a decora kid/in decora adjacent styles!!! like YEAH that’s ME!!! it’s not a thing that’s ever in my source so it makes me really happy when i get clocked as a decora kid regardless <33 -silver

i haaaaaaaate it when ppl act like i’m stupid. like YEAH i was naive and a bit too hasty in 06, but. it wasn’t out of a place of mal intent OR stupidity. i had been eating rocks and bugs for the past 14 years and was then given a target to prevent that from happening. forgive me for jumping at the opportunity -silver

answered here, but another thing i really like is all the varying art styles in the fan community! like there’s always that distinct sonic-y look but some ppl make us fluffy, and some draw us more angular, etc etc! basically i think fan creations are really neat and an integral part of my source -silver
