After decades of quiet rest, we finally pulled the cork and gave it time to breathe in the decanter before sharing it with the family. Its deep garnet color and delicate aromas told stories of vintages gone by . It was a perfect centerpiece for a holiday celebration filled with great company, laughter, and memories.

Hump Day Wednesday in The Napa Valley with my LA friends who came up to stay with my husband and I in Oakland. Super fun, super funny. It’s really great when everyone meshes and has a good time, just grateful to be together enjoying one another’s company in a beautiful place. For me, I feel like an angel above looking down enjoying the show. A bird on a shoulder, a rooftop or a ledge, just happy to be here watching everyone interact and react. Napa Valley Tour by Debbi + Adam ••• First Stop Silverado Vineyards.. always. The view from above is magical. Second Stop ... @aubergedusoleil .. always perfect — lunch, wine + the magnificent view overlooking the Valley. Followed by The Napa Valley Olive Oil Co .. the best Olive Oil ever. Lucky to have a dear friend with an amazing home we stopped in for a game of Bocce. Thanks to the caretaker who opened up the home. Had time permitted and didn’t have to get back down the hill for a showing we would have made two more stops — one at Hall, the other, The Carneros Resort. Ohh and Bistro Don Giovanni 🌷 and that sums up #DebbisFavorites .. happy to report Napa is thriving. Go on up and support the local businesses.
