I'm currently busy packing all the orders, so here's a pic of a little experiment I did last week 😊 . This micro dragon is made of PMC, a kind of clay made of actual silver particles. When a PMC object is fired (at about 900°C), the organic binder burns away, and what is left is a pure silver piece 😍 I find PMC quite difficult to work with, since it hardens *very* quickly (it's more similar to traditional clay than to polymer clay, but it is also extremely heavy, due to the high specific weight of silver). The firing process is also rather tricky (the first dragon I sculpted last week ended up in an ugly blob of melted silver during firing, sigh 😭😭😭 this one is actually my second attempt!) . I've sculpted a few silver pieces some years ago, and I'd love to make a few more, but as you can see the final result is still far from perfect! I definitely need more practice (and obviously silver clay is expensive, since it's *actual* silver). What do you think of this? Would you like to see some wearable silver dragon charms? 😊
