TASK #1: HALLOWEEN ; FLORENCE AS PRINCESS BELLE.
OPTION 1
This year, Florence chose Princess Belle to be her costume. Don’t be fooled, though, she had a bunch of other options prepared just in case she changed her mind. She had four other options this year: a panda (her self-proclaimed spirit animal), the Sugarplum Fairy from The Nutcracker, a pumpkin (she was deprived of such an important experience as a child) and bringing back her famous Wonder Woman from 2016 (read the part two of the task to find out more about this costume!).
Belle was a wise choice, so she went with it. She found inspiration online and through watching Beauty and The Beast countless times, so she could design and sew this costume herself. She also did her hair (which countains a scary amount of bobby pins) to her nails that are covered by satin gloves (thankfully, because she smudged them, too impatient to get working on another piece of the costume). Rumour has it she can’t breathe under the corset and she learned the waltz for nothing, because she has no intriguing beast to dance with.
Without wanting to god mod too much, I believe it would be safe to say she bugs both Candice and Angel every year so she can go trick or treating with them, or make the kids’ costumes. On Halloween evening, though, she starts by staying at the Bridal shop to distribute candies and then she would either join the kids and their parents to walk around town, or she would wander around Amory Village and live her Disneyland Princess dreams.
While we’re on the topic of children, she would so force themed costumes on her family. Like they would dress up as The Incredibles, as food items, as more Disney characters. She would start preparing their celebrations in the middle of summer, so she has time to tailor and alter each costume. It would be her own little Oscar night, except instead of boring speeches, it would be filled with candy and sugar boosted laughter. She will most likely steal some of her kids’ candies when they’re sleeping, as a reward for her hard work (PS: I would suggest you hide your Reese’s Cups and Kit Kats, for satefy measure. Although nothing quite competes with Aero. What can I say? Aero chocolate bars and Ketchup chips are on top of the Canadian identity).
