i feel that, honestly. musical episodes always strike me as cringey, especially when the show is normally not like that.

it is very, very hard to pull off a musical, i’ve been in one. shit was no joke. and the musical was an hour and thirty minutes long at least. so chopping that in half for a tv show that isn’t a musical based show is... always a goddamn clusterfuck. there’s only one musical episode of a show that i would watch again if i was doing a season rewatch and that’s the scrubs one. the show itself was a bit of a comedy, it was the sixth season and it was clinging to life, it was still funny, and stayed relevant to the show.

this musical wasn’t relevant to the flash, like, at all. music meister is one of his villains, but this was just a stupid waste of time. not only was it a stupid waste of time, but they actually went and manufactured westallen drama specifically for this musical episode and i really need them to stop throwing the flash under the bus for these goddamn waste of time crossovers.
