SILVERROT:

• abolish and cleo don't get along and that's funny. they have a really bad misunderstanding in episode 6 where cleo just refuses to listen to abolish trying to explain himself and he gets so frustrated with her

• cleo is like super intimidated by abolish (to the point where they tell everyone that hes super dangerous and try to get the whole town to hate him when he figures out theyre a vampire) meanwhile abolish is just like. there. i dont think he even remembers much about cleo beyond “oh thats cleo theyre the farmer right?” until at least halfway through the series. he wasnt even accusing them out of malice or anything he was just like “hey btw are you a vampire?” and they started panicking because hes an intimidating vampire hunter. and then he was confused as fuck when they got upset at him. his autistic swag

BURNEDCLUES:

• I don't ship them romantically but drift and pyro have such a potentially interesting dynamic and some canon moments to work with…. drift is one of the few characters to recognize scott's abuse of pyro and then she falls victim to a similar sort of manipulation from scott! they're both driven by fear and are desperate to be seen as something other than what they are!

• uhhhh I can throw one out for martyn and pyro - pyro's "you learn!" about accepting vampirism followed up by martyn's "no you don't learn, you adapt!" haunts me. in general martyn genuinely tried to help pyro but pyro thought he couldn't be saved anymore…

Abolish is very practical and realistic where as Cleo is living in their own skewed perspective of the world that they refuse to see out of because it’s safer in there, kind of like Owen as well. I feel this dynamic has much potential.

i loveeee silverrot so much. cleo is like so afraid of abolish because of how skilled he is and how easily he clocked them as a vampire while hes just like Lalala ^_^ because he has no idea they even remember he exists. abolish is just being Tormented the whole time cleo is trying to cover up being a vampire because truly he just doesnt realize hes doing amything wrong by saying shes a vampire. theyre both the same kind of Following The Rules autistic except theyre both following different rules. and i think abolish could be very helpful to cleo in getting them to be a bit less closed off about everything and more relaxed, and she could help him in the same way. they can recognize issues in each other but not in themselves yknow
