4 and 9 from the romance asks for m'boy Silver pls.
YES! Rexus is of course mine, Avira belongs to @lavellanlove.
4. Their favorite physical feature on each other?
Silver is extremely observant about everyone, but especially so about people he cares about. ESPECIALLY so about the person he loves. Bodies in general are very aesthetically pleasing to him, but it’s rarely what attracts him to a romantic partner. Whatever physical feature of theirs he deems his favorite is usually related to whatever bit of who they are as a person makes him love them.
He would agonize over having crow’s feet himself, but Rexus has had lines at the corners of his eyes ever since he’s known him, from all the time he spends smiling (smirking is more like it, let’s be real) in the face of a world that has always seemed against him, and enjoying a life that was meant to be miserable. Most people see bitter stubbornness in him for that, which Silver finds entirely understandable as Rexus is hardly forthcoming about how he actually feels, but he thinks it shows a will to enjoy living under any circumstances, and it’s something he admires about the man he loves very much.
Similarly, he loves Avira’s eyes, and their ability to show exactly what she wants and nothing more - unless, of course, you know how to look. She is passionate about a great deal of things that improve the lives of others, and her eyes will show the intensity with which she feels that passion better than anything else. More applicable to him personally, Avira can be a complete mystery if she wants to be - as has he entirely since he came to Minrathous, but he enjoys very much the knowledge that he doesn’t need to be a mystery to her, nor does she to him. It is a massive comfort to him, one he hopes to be able to give her in return, and he loves being able to see it in her eyes.
9. How open are they with their feelings?
He isn’t, not until he knows it’s safe to be. It’s always more that he shows his feelings rather than verbalizing them, anyway; he uses pretty words with his patrons more often than with the person he loves. People who are paying him to love them will be placated by pretty words, while someone he actually loves needs to know he means them. This applies much more to his actual feelings of love than it does to just his run-of-the-mill wants, likes, and dislikes, though. Those, he has a much harder time articulating and needs to feel much safer doing so before he will. It’s much, much easier for him to be the one showing love and taking care of someone than it is to accept it, and let himself be taken care of.
