I'd imagine Test Tube could, as presents or just because she's thinking of him, make some rather useful devices for Silver. A machine that could perfectly polish him in seconds? Some blue-ray like device that could keep him from tarnishing? He would absolutely be all over that, and she'd be happy to see him happy.
I tend to picture Test Tube as being lab-ready at all times, meaning the full scientist-y fit complete with various stains and holes from various lab incidents. And Silver would have to get used to it. He can set up as formal a date as he wants, but Test Tube will unfailingly arrive in a lab coat that has... seen better days, and likely with some sort of soot on her. He'd probably be bothered by it when they're first meeting, but he'd be charmed by it after a short while.
I do think, contrary to Test Tube's normal semi-haggard appearance, she would let Silver practice makeup on her. There are only so many faces on the island, and even fewer who will let Silver do their makeup, so Test Tube is pretty often his test subject. It works out, though, since Silver is often hers.
Fan and Bot give Silver the shovel talk. If he upsets Test Tube, he needs to grovel at her feet and then start running, because Bot can extend those legs pretty far and he'll need quite the head start. Fan will get him cancelled on Twitter. Candle pats Test Tube on the back and says 'good luck'.
