Summary: Eyes as deep as the ocean, temper as strong as a storm, and untouchable as the light itself. Obi-Wan discovered that the little cottage next to the lighthouse he had crashed to heal his broken heart after the death of his husband was haunted by a very temperamental and strange ghost. He shouldn't be in a mental state to deal with something as Anakin Skywalker; but he will soon discover that they both needed each other more than they suspected.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! MY STICKERS FROM @silvipeppers CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!! 💖💖💖 I bought the whole Jaskier Fashion set and the whole Geralt Fashion set (except for one that was sold out boooo!) and she was so nice and appreciative and sent me two kitty!Jaskier stickers as extras because I bought so many.

I love these stickers SO MUCH and they are SUCH GOOD QUALITY. Seriously, go to her shop and buy some stuff from her, go right now!! Meanwhile I will just sit here quietly hoarding my new stickers like a dragon hoards treasure. :D

A face challenge we did with @kotosk using ed’s and roy’s ugly mugs. (the larger ones are my favorite). My face hurts from pulling all these faces ;v; i bet a lot of you can relate.

I discovered that i am more comfortable drawing ed? i still make look roy too much like a child because i had difficulties pushing his eyes and eyebrows and mouth and still try to make him a “composed” adult. he has to look so handsome all the time.

I also found out that i have an incredibly hard time with embarrassed faces. maybe they all look too similar? to push the barriers of your style when trying to make exaggerated expressions… it’s uncomfortable. that’s why the second and last are the ones i like most: i had loosened up by that point and had a lot of fun.

HI!! I just finished reading a bunch of your fics and want to say I loved them all a whole lot. I just want to ask about your lifeguard fic; where do you see obi-wan and anakin in the future in that AU? also, did bby anakin spot young!obi-wan while running beach drills? was obi-wan wearing his speedo then? I just have so many questions and love for that au!! i LOVE that anakin had a crush on obi-wan's picture in qui-gon's house lmao

Thank you so much!!! 💕 Ooh, I love the idea of obikin post-fic sand in the sheets. It's not something I've given too much thought to but I can brainstorm something...

I don't think Obi-Wan ends up selling his dad's house. Spending the rest of the summer with Anakin helps him come to terms with his loss, create some new good memories in the place and remember the old ones. Maybe having Obi-Wan there helps Anakin see the good in the town he's trying to escape too.

After that, hmm... I kind of picture Anakin here as already in college just back at home for the summer. Maybe they find out that Anakin is studying engineering at Coruscant University and Obi-Wan's practice is also in the city, so they can meet and pursue a relationship when the school year starts. I also kind of like the idea that they come back again next year and pick things up where they left off, that their relationship grows more serious over time.

Baby Anakin sure did see a young Obi-Wan running drills! I feel like its the kind of memory that grows hazy over time aside from a sense of like awe and admiration. Anakin is about 15 and he sees the lifeguards in training running along the beach and is just sort of starstruck by like a TPM Obi-Wan in his speedo leading the pack. (Obi-Wan can definitely be wearing his speedo, it's canon now 😂) After that he sees the picture and listens Qui-Gon talk about his son and the rest is history. He's definitely coping with a crush and a bit of lingering hero worship by the time he meets Obi-Wan in the fic.

I'm so glad you like the fic! Usually, I have a hard time writing non-gffa aus, I'm always worried about taking them too far from character but Pal's prompts and fic collection was too good to pass up. I got to write it as a break from my bb project, it was summertime so I got to write it outside, and I got to draw from my limited experience in lifeguarding classes in high school and stories my dad has told me of being a lifeguard, so I had a really fun time writing it!

Berry. Berry berry berry you werewolf obi-wan au had GRIPPED ME BY THE THROAT. It's perfect and I think you should know. I love a traumatised old man, and you bring it out of him on all the stories of your that i've read and i love you for it. I love that in them Anakin has issues but it's Obi-Wan the one on the brink every time. Like in the peonies one? Yeah Anakin lost an arm and has PTSD but the really fucked up one emotionally is Obi-Wan in his own, sad, old man way of his. AND IT'S GREAT!!!

lmao I knooooow I keep breaking That Old Man. What am I doing with my life?
